Childrens Eyeglasses
When we say we specialize in children’s eyewear we mean it. At Eyeglass House half of our clientele is younger than the age of 20. We have an amazingly large selection of children’s eyeglass frames to choose from that are fashionable, sturdy, and durable, as well as flexible. When we couple these eyeglass frames with scratch and impact-resistant lenses, we create a set of eyeglasses that can survive the busy world of childhood.
Our Philosophy
Our licensed opticians do not believe a child's vision needs end with their eye exam. Proper fitting, well made, quality eyeglasses are a very important part of your child's ability to see the world better.

Eyeglass House is dedicated to providing quality eyeglasses for your child. Each pair of glasses is custom crafted to exact specifications to assure that your child wears the best fitting, best looking and most comfortable pair of glasses they can wear.
Tweens offer unique challenges when it comes to fitting and selecting an eyeglass frame. Depending on their size, they can still sometimes wear a children’s frame, but we often find that the children's styles aren't always what's "cool" at school. On the other hand, an adult frame is often too large for a tweens face. At Eyeglass House, we have a selection of smaller size designer frames from Gucci, Juicy, Betsey Johnson and others. We can also customize rimless frames, for both children and adults from Swissflex, Kawasaki and Silhouette to fit any size face.
All of our glasses are made in our on site lab which features the latest in computerized edging technology. All glasses are verified by at least two of our licensed opticians to assure your child's prescription is filled exactly as the doctor ordered.
Our Staff is carefully selected and trained to meet the needs of your child. Each optician has many years of experience in fitting children's eyeglasses and understands the anxiety a young child might have selecting their first pair of glasses. We will help relieve that anxiety by getting down to their level and making the selection process fun for them.
All our eyeglasses include liberal warranties for both the frame and lenses. Don’t forget to ask about the warranty specific to your child’s glasses. We also replace and repair out of warranty frames at a reduced cost.

Contact Lenses for Young Adults
Eyeglass House offers complete contact lens care.
Parents frequently ask,
" How old does my child have to be to wear contact lenses?"
Usually an eleven year old child is old enough to wear them, but a certain level of responsibility should be demonstrated. In order to make the transition to contact lenses easier, Eyeglass House organizes a step-by-step process.

- First, a contact lens evaluation is scheduled. During this exam, the patient is examined specifically for contact lenses.
- The type, size, and power of the contact lenses are determined so the patient can be properly fit.
- Once a perfectly fit pair of lenses are selected, the patient will be thoroughly instructed how to insert and remove the lenses, how to care for the lenses, and how to clean them.
- Follow up visits are scheduled as needed to ensure proper care of the lenses. Examination and follow up appointments are offered at convenient times such as after school, evenings, and weekends.
